“Life should be malleable and progressive”

…very progressive. Someone send the Pope this memo. He hasn’t gotten it.

“We’d as well be 10 minutes back in time, for all the chance you’ll change your mind.”
This entire thing is so excellent. Pretty sure I’ve posted it before, but what’s the harm in posting once more?

Cultural Leadership (via azspot)
This is precisely why I have big problems with conservativism in general.

The day after the anniversary of the verdict in the Scopes trial, the Texas State Board of Education sided with sound science today as they voted to reject creationist educational materials and accept the recommendations of scientists when it comes to our schools’ educational materials.
Supporters of science really came together on this one to reject anti-evolution views from nationally funded groups. Pop that Crizzle, baby! Having been at the hearing in 2009, I know how tough these fights are. We should be very happy today. Much credit goes to the teams at NCSE and the Texas Freedom Network.
Evolution wins.
I don’t say this a lot, but, WAY TO GO, TEXAS,
GOOD. I can now feel like I’m not in a completely retarded place when visit Texas next month. Reading this was like a breath of fresh air.
