Yeah, I’ve given up hope too honestly.
I know they’re gonna release DLC in a couple of months or whatever, but somehow I doubt that it’s going to fix the problem of the story completely falling apart.
The way I see it, while ME3 was a colossal disappointment, we still have the Dragon Age franchise from BioWare. Perhaps they will really deliver when they release the 3rd installment. Until then, I have a few other things to keep me entertained. =]

Don’t be entirely too hopeful. That idea was scrapped in the very early stages of ME3’s development. It may/may not be put back in.
I’m skeptical for now.
Customization of the final battle is what I wanted all along. That, and a few decent ending possibilities. Evidently that was too much to ask for. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how this goes.
