If more company leaders followed this example of selflessness instead of being so fucking greedy the economy wouldn’t be so shitty. I mean really, just how much money do you really need to have.
This dude is fucking awesome. \m/
An amazing individual. He takes the welfare of his company and workers personally.
This should be standard for ceo’s. It’s sad that the bosses of certain “non for profit” organizations don’t have the same mentality as this man.
this is cool.
The reason why this Nishimatsu is a noble man and our American CEO’s are scum, has largely to do with overall outlook, personal philosophy, and how you’re brought up. A nation like Japan takes the greater good into account before anything else. The jobs of millions of employees are worth far more (now and in the long run) than a few extra million for yourself so you can buy a fifth house. America does not understand this ideal of community. America is a country bred on the idea that you have to maim your competition in order to move forward; that the only way to get to the top is to tear everyone else down. The United States wasn’t always like this, but the right wing keeps pushing farther right, and the emergence of more libertarians (the ultimate in selfishness philosophies) is only showing how desperate conservatives are becoming. No nation or empire ever prospered by adopting the old saying “every man for himself,” so why do we place such blind faith in unregulated free-market capitalism? It’s what allows American CEO’s to be as greedy as they wish without ever facing consequences.
Japan has the right idea.

If only the greed in the world were more of a rarity. Hats off to this CEO. I wish more would follow his example.
I want to fly on his planes. Also he possibly has a fat stash of shares, like Steve Jobs got paid $1 a year or something...
Kudos. I wish more people were like this.
This is how a CEO should behave.
